Overview

A fully engineered social media scheduling and automation SaaS — built for Nabeelah Vally, Founder & CEO of Unsocial, as her technical co-founder without the equity. Content planning, automated publishing, and zero cognitive load. Built on a founder's budget. Launching soon.

01. The Challenge

Content Fatigue is a Product Problem

Social media managers and solo founders spend more time navigating tools than creating content. Existing platforms are bloated, expensive, and built for enterprise teams — not the individual creator or small business owner who just needs their content to go out on time, without thinking about it.

Nabeelah Vally came to Purple Softworks with a clear vision for Unsocial: a scheduling platform that strips away the noise and puts automation first. She handles the sales, the marketing, and the community. We handle everything technical — architecture, development, infrastructure, and deployment. The classic technical co-founder model, without the equity split.

02. The Solution

Set It and Forget It

We built Unsocial as a clean, modern SaaS platform using Next.js on the frontend and Supabase for the backend — integrated with the social APIs needed to push content automatically across platforms. The core philosophy is a "set it and forget it" experience: a drag-and-drop content calendar, automated queue management, and a publishing pipeline that runs without user intervention once content is scheduled.

Development was structured around Nabeelah's budget — spreading the build across six months of phased delivery rather than a single upfront engagement. This allowed the product to grow incrementally without stalling her business, and without compromising on the architecture or quality of what was being built. The full scope, done at full pace, is a four-week build. That flexibility is something we offer every founder we work with.

03. The Result

From Brief to Beta in Three Weeks

The initial MVP was scoped, designed, and shipped in three weeks — fully functional, production-grade, and immediately handed to a closed beta group for real-world testing. In that period, the platform automated over 50 posts across connected accounts with zero manual intervention after scheduling.

Unsocial is currently in active beta and launching its public waitlist imminently. Purple Softworks continues to support the platform through ongoing development as Nabeelah scales her user base and prepares for full public launch.
